Thanks for visiting the Youth Fishing Pages of ILFishing.com. This section of our site is dedicated to highlighting the fishing successes of young people; letting them share their stories, photos, and videos; and providing information to improve their fishing skills.
We welcome fishing stories written by individuals, families, groups, or clubs for our "Articles & Features" page that detail your fishing successes or share a fishing memory. Maybe you have a favorite fishing technique or participated in a fishing derby and would like to share the experience with us.
We will post photos of your fish catches on our "Fish Photos" page and provide links to your fishing videos on the "Links & Videos" page, where we will also provide links to youth fishing groups, web sites, and organizations that promote youth fishing.
Our "Learn to Fish" pages will provide instruction and resources to improve your fishing skills in a wide variety of areas, such as tackle selection, fishing lines and knots, lures and live bait, and fish behavior.
Activities that involve youth and family fishing will be posted on our "Events" page. Events will be organized in date order under each month's heading with the host city of the event and event dates highlighted. To view preceding or later months in 2008, scroll up or down from your location.
News and links involving fishing clubs or tournaments for young people will be detailed on the "Clubs & Tournaments" page. Did your club have a tournament or activity that you want to share? Are you looking for a fishing club to join? This is a good place to look.
Our "Safety & Conservation" page will emphasize the importance of being safe near the water and taking care of our natural resources. "Games & Puzzles" will provide some fun while teaching about fishing.
