Submit Articles and Photos

Articles and tips submitted to this site should follow the guidelines listed in our  Article Guidelines.

All submissions should be original and current, written during the last six months. Articles and tips should be submitted in MS Word (.doc) or plain text (.txt) format. Refer to our Article Guidelines for more details.

Our Photo Gallery will be available to display your photos of Illinois fish catches. Email photos of your Illinois fish, in either .jpeg or .gif format to:  photos@ilfishing.com

There are two ways to submit photos. They are, in order of preference:

• Photos taken with a digital camera and emailed to this site. These are the easiest to deal with and quickest to deliver. Try to keep the file sizes to a minimum so they don't get rejected by the email carrier. Don't forget to include a description of the photograph, names of individuals, where fish were caught, technique used to catch fish, and any other related information.

• Photos taken with a regular camera that you scan and email to this site.
